"Metabolic regulation of T cell immunity and its implications for cancer immunotherapy"
Engaging active immunity is a metabolically demanding process, and T cells require immense metabolic reprogramming to both differentiate into various lineages as well as carry out their effector functions. In this seminar, we will discuss the metabolic consequences of T cell activation and the necessity of metabolic reprogramming to carry out immunity in nutrient-deprived environments like solid tumors.
